Poetry In Motion Catering was founded in 1999 in Watsonville, California, from the heart, vision, and passion of Karen Major. What began as a deeply personal pursuit rooted in hospitality, creativity, and care quickly grew into a company known for its warmth, integrity, and exceptional service.
For more than 26 years, Poetry In Motion has been trusted to cater weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations throughout Santa Cruz County and beyond. Karen’s hands-on leadership and thoughtful approach shaped a team culture built on consistency, professionalism, and genuine connection.
